Dear Touched, Preening is a caveman throwback intimate and affectionate bonding ritual where the “preenor” cares that you look good to others. Kiss her if she does this. Of course, like everything, beware of the reverse -preening used to shame and disrespect you is when the preenor breaks eye contact, picks under your dirty fingernail or at your shirt’s stain while saying something shitty.
