Hands Off! 50501

DEAR READERS, I invite the world to join the entire United States movement on Saturday, April 5th to “stop the MAGA assault on our country and Constitutions.” Women’s March, 50501 Movement (50 Protests, 50 States, One Movement ), and other titles and grassroots groups are hosting a “peaceful, people-powered event” from the flagship march on the grounds of the Washington Monument in Washington, D. C. and throughout the country. London, Zurich, Madrid and others have also planned protests. The Hands Off! website describes the demands of this “national mass activation” to END attacks on immigrants, transgender people, END cuts to federal programs and oversight, END “billionaire takeover and rampant corruption of the Trump administration,” and END the most outrageous power grab in modern history. They said it nicely, but my thoughts are much darker. These are terrifying times for democratic loving people. I’ll be protesting in Los Angeles. Let your voice be heard.
