Dear Suze Q. I’m dating a beautiful woman but we’re having trouble outside the bedroom with finding mutual interests. She denied she had secrets when I joked she was so mysterious. I have eclectic friends who have tons of interests, and like me, can be the life of a party. They all warn me to stay clear because she’s an airhead.
Dear Warned, Maybe she sticks to “safe” conversations like the weather and shared experiences because there’s no depth there. Learn her background from others who know her to see if she’s shallow and none-too-bright, or a shy, daydreaming, conflict-avoidant, naive, soul. She maybe fine for someone else, but if you want spunky, she’s obviously not. -SQ
