Dear Suze Q. I was raised very religious where most everything was a sin. I married a worldly man who loves me but wants me to be a little free and wild. After 10 years, I still undress in the other room and wear nightclothes. I sense he’s slipping away and I want to change. I’m uncomfortable telling my friends and family, and the internet isn’t specific.
Dear Religious, Guilt is manmade and can be unlearned. You can relish sexual enjoyment if you allow yourself to receive and give pleasure. Years of religious indoctrination will be hard to overcome without help. Finding a counselor that specializes in sex therapy for both of you might be the easiest way to liberate your feelings and your life. Have fun and you’ll discover a new kind of paradise. -SQ
