Dear Suze Q. I saw the 60 Minutes (December 15, 2024) episode about an internet site that deceives online payment services to authorize the company, clothoff, to use artificial intelligence to generate fake nude photos of underage children. This is despicable and scares the bejesus out of me.
Dear Concerned, The internet is a landmine where A.I. creators and cyber bad guys prey. In the U.S., clothoff displays this "Oops 👀 Access to the service in your country is blocked. But if you'd login from other country using special services, magic is right here 😉" Clothoff is one of hundreds of "nudify" sites where you can create your own porn. Hold your children and loved ones close. The predators are everywhere. -SQ
