Why Do I Hang On?

Dear Why, (do I do this?) Because it’s a comfortable routine and easier than the alternative? Probably. On the rare chance, it could be self- punishment/loathing/hatred. Maybe laziness? Or fear of being alone, of losing the parts of the relationship you do like (sex, his pets). Finding the reason(s) is important to break the cycle. Get a box of Kleenex and dive into hard work if you REALLY want to change instead of pity-parties and whining about it. Suggestion: date more than one guy at a time. -SQ
