Sex in My 60s

Dear Suze Q. I'm dating in my 60s and I'm having a ball. Since I no longer worry about pregnancy, other than STDs, why bother with protection?

Dear Sexual. Until you are monogamous and absolutely trust that your partner is telling you the truth of their sexual history, be careful, be safe, be smart. Use male condoms or dental dams to reduce contracting an STI from vaginal, anal, and oral sex. Dental dams are readily available online or adult stores, but not necessarily in other common places where condoms are sold. Fun fact: Dental dams are a bit pricey at $1-$2 each, and there's no protection like the real thing; but in a pinch, you can make your own from a new condom, or even plastic wrap! Check DIY tips on the internet. -SQ
