Quietly Dumped

Dear Suze Q. I've dated my girl about 4 fabulous months. Lately, she seems distracted and makes excuses for limiting our time, especially when I try to be intimate. She says nothing's wrong. 

Dear She Says, What she says is not what she does. When actions don't match words, trust the action. She's pulling away from you. A new term is "quietly dumped" which evolved from the work industry trend of "quiet quitting" where minimum effort is exerted at your job while actively looking for a new one. Is she stringing you along until she finds someone else? I'd suggest asking her directly if your relationship is over, but again, be wary of her words and believe her actions. If it's no better in a few weeks, probably best for you to move on too. -SQ
