Dear Suze, I'm in my 60s with lots of friends and interests, but I find dating sites to be a mini nightmare. I stepped outside my comfort zone and dated a few guys who had passionate hobbies that and I thought I'd enjoy -Asian art was one, golf was the other. I really tried but neither of these interests grabbed me in the least, although the guys were consumed with them. Nan from New York.
Dear Nan, Like anything else, interests range from mild to moderate to passionate. Maybe it's not the guy's hobby that didn't grab you, but the intensity that he focused on it rather than on your budding twosome. Do more sleuth work as to the next potential date to make sure there's something behind door #2 after the museum or golf course runs it's par. -SQ
