Dear Suze Q. During COVID isolation I learned a lot about myself. I enjoy hobbies, like cooking and games. I like being alone but I miss my deceased husband. I miss sex and a companion but I don't want to live with someone full time. It was grand when I was younger raising kids, but now it's time to play. How can I find someone without sounding selfish? -Playful Paloma
Dear Playful, Selfish has that nasty connotation that you care only for yourself and are inconsiderate of others, in which case you'd better stay home alone. If you mean self-content and looking for a like-minded companion, that's another animal altogether. Tell your on-line dating prospects your interests, then when you meet, you can share your new skills together. If fun happens in the kitchen, craft room, or bedroom, then it's a win-win. -SQ
