High School reunion or High School sweetheart reunion?

Dear Suze Q.  My guy is so excited about going to his high school reunion in September that he's already bought his airline ticket.  It was a small school, hundreds of miles from where we live now, and he knew everybody.  He's made it clear that I'm not invited because I'd feel out of place.  He swears he has no old girlfriends that he wants to see, and although he's never lied to me before, I've got to wonder.

Dear Got To Wonder.  No you don't.  Jealousy is a complex emotion that often begins with suspicion.  He's never given you reason to think there's a real or perceived threat to your relationship, so why start to doubt him now?  Social science and common sense bears out that "the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior."     --SQ
