Dear S.Q. My brother died and was cremated like he wanted. His wife is asking if anyone in the family wants some of his ashes as a remembrance. My only experience is with my dog who’s imbedded in a paperweight. This whole conversation seems spooky.
Dear Sis, Death is an uncomfortable but real part of the life-cycle. People mourn in individual ways that need to be respectful, even if they seem unusual. Her offer was kind. Answer the question -no explanation for your choice is required. -SQ
