Unplugged

Dear S.Q. My wife has unplugged the family for a weekend! Our kids are apoplectic. She and I have stopped watching the dire news as our retirement funds are tanking and a recession is threatening. Our security and life are being dismantled by incompetent Trump and his gang of corrupted screwups. -Irate in Indiana

Dear Irate, Hopefully your kids are shielded from your adult stresses. Unplugging them from computers/electronic devices is undeserved punishment, while for the adults it is bliss. Maybe leave them out of the equation or add some live family time in addition to their free choices. The adults need to find an outlet for their frustration, but not by making the kids miserable too. -SQ
