Minor Rule Breaker

Dear Suze, My friend has habits I hate. He sits in other assigned seats in movies, on airplanes; he cuts in line when people aren’t looking; he eats one banana from the bunch before we reach check-out.

Dearie, Criminals are “rule breakers.” Most people are “rule followers” who sometimes break rules, but modify their behavior to model people around them. I doubt your friend takes someone’s seat or steal bananas if he knows he’ll be caught, so why does it do it around you? Take a hard stand and tell him to knock it off, or if you continue to add to the problem, you don’t get to bitch. -SQ
