Dear embarrassed, Genital itching can be a symptom of many things, some as simple and not serious, as skin irritation from soaps or heat/sweat to the dreaded, but often treatable STDs. If it persists, reoccurs, is severe, or has a discharge or rash, then 🔜 get thee to the M.D. At-Home test kits are readily available for STDs, and all clinics that test are confidential. Less serious, but bothersome conditions, are fungal, yeast infection, lichen planus (bumpy rash), and a dozen others. An accurate diagnosis is key to treatment and cure. Your itch maybe due to fooling around, or just coincidental, but don’t fool around with curing it. -SQ
