Dear Suze, My 15-year-old stepdaughter demanded to use TikTok and Meta. My husband is unsure, but I said absolutely NO, -TikToc tracks all your data and even the US Supreme Court heard arguments to ban it as a national security risk, and Meta because Zuckerberg irresponsibly and recklessly refuses to fact-check. Both are dangerous for anyone, but a child needs extra protection by their parents.
Dear absolutely right, Usually I’d say the bio parent wins when it’s a close call, but in this case you fact-checked the serious dangers of both companies. Safety takes priority over a wishy-washy husband, and a pushy teenager. -SQ
