Dear Suze, I’m conflicted about bringing a new woman to our family Christmas celebration. We’ve only dated a few months and she may be a keeper, but she’s needier than I like. My adult kids and their family have left it up to me although they’re curious to met her. I don’t want to hurt her feelings, but I feel it’s too much too soon.
Dear Conflicted, you’ve answered your own question. Bringing her into your inner sanctum during this holiday time suggests you want her more involved. If it’s too soon for this big step, tell her you want to celebrate special holiday time alone with her since you’re still getting to know each other. -SQ
