Dear NAA. Obviously, he thinks you have a drinking problem. The internet has stats and checklists, but only you, in your heart of hearts, can honestly answer the questions: 1) do you often drink more than you intend; 2) does drinking get you into trouble (yes, a first date leaving you AA info qualifies); 3) any memory lapses when drinking; 4) others have said you have a drinking problem; 5) you've tried to quit but can't. Yes to any of the 5 questions, says you have a drinking problem. You can seek help or not, but you can't plead ignorance. -SQ
