Dear S.Q. Maybe you missed the mark with sweetheart vs liar two days ago. Why conclude he’s a “slimeball” because he lied, especially when she thought they were unimportant? If he embellished his words to make himself more attractive, why is this any different than a woman who wears a thick padded bra and shaping wire? Or make-up to cover facial flaws? Where is the line between innocent boasting and phony baloney?
Dearie, You make good points to be considered. The line is between innocent exaggeration from someone she could love and trust with all her heart and soul, or someone hell bent on hurting her. The lines are crossed when actions produce dire consequences -when the duty to do no harm is violated. -SQ
