Always Late

Dear Suze, My girl is always late, maybe 10 minutes or a hour but it embarrasses and angers me. She says she’ll try harder and she does, but unless I drag her out the door, we’re never on time. Unhappy guy

Dear UG -Constant lateness is a combo of personality and habits. Procrastinators, poor planners, and chaotic/disorganized folks exhibit chronic lateness. Some have diagnosable problems like attention deficit or anxiety disorders; others are just clueless or insensitive to other’s needs. There are many reasons, and the specific ones for your gf requires research in order to change her bad habit. But unless she wants to change, not just give you lip service, she won’t.
