Dear Suze Q. My love life is too crazy. Julie and I started dating a year ago. We're intense and the fabulous sex is always and everywhere. I am loyal, but she accuses me that I don't love her enough. She swings from giggles to crying all day long. She checks on me and worries I'll leave. She gets furious when I see my friends without her. Prisoner of Love
Dear Prisoner of sex (not love). Real love balances itself out after the intense honeymoon phase with trust, and respect for boundaries. If the main drivers of her constant crazy love are fear, insecurity, and possessiveness, this relationship is unhealthy, and mostly likely will not improve with time alone. Ask her to seek professional help or cut her loose. Determine what you need in a healthy relationship, and if she's incapable of giving it, move on. You're not a therapist so don't try to be one. -SQ
