Dear Suze, My guy and I are in our 60s and pledged ourselves to each other over a year ago. As yet, we live separately but get together many times a week. He asked to spend a week with me while an old (girl) friend comes into town for a conference and to stay with him. I said sure, but he can stay home and entertain her and we can all get together, too. Should he stay with me to remove any temptation?
Dear One. Temptation on whose part? It sounds like you trust him, so I assume he’s earned it. Temptation on her part is out of your hands, so again there should be no problem since you trust your guy to keep boundaries. The real question is do you want him to invade your space for a week? -SQ
