To Tell or Not To Tell

Dear Suze Q. My wife and I are arguing and she thought your opinion could help. The husband of our married friends is cheating on his wife. My wife wants to tell her best friend. I say don’t tell, it’s none of our business. Don from Denver

Dear Don, There is no right or wrong answer. It's fine that you’ve chosen not to discuss this with your friends. It's also fine if your wife chooses to tell her girlfriend or the cheating husband. You both don't have to agree with each other to tell or not, but you MUST support each other in your independent choices. If the couple gets angry, you and your spouse must stand together as one united. Ultimately, it truly is the other couple’s problem, so don't let it become yours.  -SQ
