Dear Suz, I'm dating a great woman and I think I want to marry this one. I've analyzed what I love about her and she feels the same in the categories that matter: she cares about things I care about even if they're not "her thing;" she makes time for me, and her girlfriends and workmates know this; everyone that counts loves us together; she's a big fan when I need one; I see her glow when we are close; we talk about everything and nothing and it's the best. Am I too close to see that I'm missing something?
Dear Too Close, WOW! Celebrate your great union. I don't hear any negatives about her. There must be some, and I hope you're okay with them just as she is with your flaws. One final question comes to mind. If the answer is "yes," then I wish you a happy life together -when she knows all your dark secrets, worst fears, and embarrassing moments, will she still be your greatest champion? -SQ
