Dear SQ, I thought my latest date on Silver Singles was terrific, even the good-night kiss was just right -sweet enough to promise something more without being prudish or too much. I said I’d like to call her again and she said great. I waited a week to ask her for dinner and she was furious I’d waited so long. What happened?
Dear What Happened, I guess she got hungry for someone else. Don’t fret. If she couldn’t wait a week, just think how awful it would be if it was something serious she needed to be patient for, like falling in love, or the shower to get warm. Impatient people are usually royal pains in many ways. Consider yourself lucky and find someone with a temperament more like yours. - SQ
