Downhearted in Detroit commented on "FROG ELIMINATION"
January 8, 2024
Dear Suze, I’m
a 52-year-old female dating a 68-year-old man. We have had some
pleasant dinner and afternoon dates. We have had some hugging and
kissing. However, each time I make a move to get more intimate, he backs
away. He will bring up a new subject or remember he had to make a
telephone call. Should I move on or break the ice on this not yet hot
topic? -Downhearted in Detroit
Dear Downhearted, There could be legitimate reasons why your guy is romantically as slow as a glacier. However, it is a relationship-killer when he sends double messages that he's willing to play kissy-face but then creates barriers to real passion. Dive in before bailing out and ask him everything you want to know, starting with "do you enjoy sexual intimacy?" If he can't stick with the subject, let him fall through the ice while you move on to hotter men. --SQ
