Dearie, No insult taken. Others may give their blunt opinion, or give you valuable issues to consider. Here are a few thoughts: *directly poll several people whose opinions you value. *also listen to those who give you their opinions unsolicited. Then analysis your results: 1) are they projecting their values onto you or seeing it from your point of view? 2) does their advice ring true, both positive and negative? 3) do you value that they may have better insight than you about situations in general and this one in particular? 4) are they a squared-away person whose advice to themself bettered their own life? 🧐 -SQ
