Dear Suze Q., I'm a boomer enjoying the dating after 50 group, looking for a good man, especially a good lover. Where are they? I met my husband in the 70s when life was carefree and the world was rosy. Sex and drugs were as common as eating, and we mastered that craft like any art form. We took pride in helping each other and enjoying our differences. Why are the American men I date so passive?

As in anything, some are inept, others talented; amateurs and masters. Skilled lovers are the closest thing one has to exquisite masturbation. They know you, as well or better than your know your own body because they are laser-focused listening not only to your words, but the hum in your body, the want behind your sighs.
