Night Moves

Dear Suze Q. My guy and I are at the sweet spot in our new relationship where we share details of our sordid past, lovers and losses. I told him a story about a friend, turned lover, long before the term "fuck buddy" was fashionable that I remain in contact by social media. I explained that like the Bob Seger song: "I used her, she used me, but neither one cared. We were gettin' our share." He was struck-dumb, went cold, and asked if I still saw him. Only on FB, I laughed. He didn't. Now he won't talk about it but I feel like the town whore. What to do?

Dear Sharer, Sounds like you struck a nerve. Since he won't talk about your abrupt disconnect, mark this as a yellow, or maybe a red flag issue. Not something to skip over in a budding romance. Your future depends on finding out what the problem is, and decide if it's a minefield or a one-off moment. -SQ
