Dear Suze Q., I’ve had 2 dinners with a lady I’d like to know better and I thought she felt the same. I leave voicemails and follow up the next day with a text, then wait. Last time she took a week to reply, and I asked if she had a better way to reach her. She snapped that she doesn’t look at her phone every minute. I’m stumped what to do.
Dear Stumped, People are on their best behavior when dating, but not her. Strike 1: Her responses to you were slow, without excuse or apology. Strike 2: She snapped at you when you casually ask her how to connect more timely. Odds of getting better stink -she’s rude, and unapologetic. Why wait for strike 3 when you’ve earned a free walk? -SQ
