Dear S. Q. I divorced in my early 60s and now date women from dating sites. I was clear about wanting a sexual component and women easily agreed. Any sex is good but my latest lady is really loud and talks throughout -what she likes from, and doing to, me. I don’t like it. How can I politely tell her?
Dear Polite, If you don’t have “the talk,” you’ll reach a point where you can’t hide your dislike, and she’ll know something is wrong but won’t know what. Outside the bedroom, discuss what each of you likes, then slide in what you don’t like without directly saying to knock it the hell off. Be specific: is it certain words/phrases, the amount of babble or intonation, or the whole dirty talk in general. Remind her that you like sex shown, not told. -SQ
