Dear Suze Q. People laugh that I’m peeved when my partner squeezes the toothpaste brutally from the middle like she’s kneading bread. I tell her it’s economical to squeeze from the bottom. She says she chokes the tube because she likes the feel. Who’s right?
Dear peeved, What a loaded question! Some say bottom squeezers are economical and thrifty; middle squeezers say it’s faster and allows the tube to keep it’s original sleek design; and the top squeezers take it off the top because that’s how they treat all mundane things. I think who’s right is as clear as reading tea leaves or tarot cards. But if your main squeeze likes squeezing a fat, firm cylinder, maybe you can supply her more of that. Another solution is two tubes of toothpaste. -SQ
