I am in love. I have always loved the same woman, but she makes me so crazy that I sometimes can't think straight. She lied when she told the judge I scare her, but he gave her a 5-year Restraining Order anyway. I've stopped drinking hard liquor, and found a church to attend when she comes back. I said some things to her boss last week when he stopped me from delivering her flowers. I could have hurt him, but I did not. How can I show her that I've changed and that we are meant to be together? I love her with all my heart.
Dear In Love. You say she makes you crazy. No, you allow yourself to act crazy then blame her. She is not responsible or at fault for your anger, dangerous behavior, or violation of the court order. You can show her that you love her by respecting her wishes to leave her alone. Only patience and time apart will tell if you were meant to be together. But, it will never happen if you bully her and others. Find a way to move ahead in life without her, otherwise the path you are on may lead to jail time or worse. I recommend that you seek counseling to learn new skills and help you make better choices. -SQ
