Dear Conflicted. There are two choices: tell the entire truth (no lies), or never say a word. You need to think hard and deep about which to choose and be prepared for pain either way. If it was a one-time only, never to be repeated, alcohol or drug induced haze, then maybe living with your guilt and secret is the best answer. Relationships thrive on trust that you've now violated. How much you've damaged your marriage is yet to be determined. If you ask your wife for a second chance, be committed to work incredibly hard on yourself and your marriage; she deserves nothing less of you. --SQ
