I have no idea who thought they were clever when they came up with this dumbass concept... I understand if it's a temporary arrangement until you both can work out the details to move in together, but what this term really signifies are frogs who are not lonely and permanently prefer their own companionship over all others. They do not want you to disrupt their routines nor do they want to join in any of yours, unless it's convenient for them. Self-centeredness is a hard-wired characteristic of this group. Consider this --> his needs come first and yours, hmmmm, maybe never?
